Just launched: The Unity Game

We were very pleased to celebrate the launch of the second book we have worked on for Leonora Meriel, The Unity Game, in Teddington last week. Leonora is a very talented writer with a very professional attitude towards self-publishing. This has stood her in good stead and since she launched her first book, The Woman Behind The Waterfall, back in October 2016, she has gone on to have it stocked in Waterstone’s branches throughout the UK. She has also gained some fantastic reviews – including one from Esther Freud, who described her work as “strange and beautiful”. Her second book ventures into new territory for her as a writer, with elements of the metaphyscial and a touch of sci-fi, opening up her writing to a new readership. We worked with her to produce a gorgeous hardback as well as a paperback and eBook edition, all of which are available internationally.

Just launched: Mediterranean Summer

Jane is a successful traditionally published author of books drenched in sunshine that just scream out to be packed in your suitcase and taken on holiday. Although books 1 and 2 in her Catalonia Trilogy were published the traditional way, she approached us because she wanted to try self-publishing for the third book. She wanted to experience a different way of doing things, and to be in the driving seat of the whole process, and specifically to have control of the marketing herself. Having been traditionally published she had seen the importance of strong marketing and wanted to get involved with things like Facebook ads herself. We proofread her wonderful story, produced a summery cover for her, published the paperback and have given her some 1:1 marketing advice too. Indie Author Fringe is an online conference for self-publishing authors, organised 3 times a year by Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi). ALLi brings together the most up-to-date self-publishing education and information available and broadcasts it to authors everywhere.

Running 24 completely FREE sessions over 24 continuous hours allows authors round the globe to attend live sessions, no matter where they’re located.
